Abstract

473,985. Electricity supply. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R. April 24, 1936, No. 11663. Convention date, April 27, 1935. Addition to 436,429. [Class 38 (iv)] Running generators in parallel.-The equalizing arrangement described in the parent Specification by which equal or proportional output is obtained from dynamos working in parallel on a common battery, is automatically rendered inoperative when one dynamo is out of action. The system described in the parent Specification is modified by the inclusion of a switch 17 in the lead connecting the two equalizing windings 9, one for each machine. This switch is opened by the flow of current in a winding 19 connected between dynamo terminals of like polarity, so that failure of either dynamo results in flow of current through the winding.
