472,590. Wireless receiving circuits. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. April 5, 1937, No. 9638. Convention date, April 4, 1936. [Class 40 (v)] In a thermionic amplifier of the type in which the electrical centre of the cathode is maintained at a potential substantially different from earth, the input circuit being connected to the said centre and comprising at least one element having a metallic screen or core, the latter is connected to the electrical centre of the cathode and not to earth. The screens A, D, H of the input circuit of valve V are connected to the cathode centre S, to avoid disturbances induced between the screens and the elements with which they are associated. Specifications 291,516, [Class 40 (v)], and 448,421 are referred to.
