Abstract
316,306. Kramolin, L. L. von. July 27, 1928, [Convention date]. Thermionic valve circuits. - The grid bias potential for a valve having an equipotential cathode is taken from a resistance inserted in the individual lead from the cathode to the negative terminal of the source of anode current. The valves 1, Fig. 1, with cathodes 8 have resistances 7 connected between the cathodes and the common high-tension negative lead 6, the resistances being provided with tappings for grid-bias potentials. A circuit combining valves with directly-heated and equipotential cathodes is described, Fig. 2 (not shown). The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also arrangements in which each cathode or group of cathodes of any type of valve has a separate lead to a resistance included in the anode circuit which produces grid bias potentials. For valves 2, Fig. 3 (Cancelled), with directly-heated cathodes, resistances 11 are connected between the high-tension negative lead 6 and a null point in each of the separate heating circuits. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
