Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Jan. 28, 1932.] [Class 40 (v).] To avoid disturbances arising from the cathode heating circuits of thermionic valves, individual balancing potentiometers 4, 11 across the heating source 7. are provided for the anode and grid connections respectively. To obtain a fine adjustment the tapping points may be connected together through a resistance 12. Where valves of different filament voltages are connected in cascade, the separate tapping points in each filament circuit are brought to the same potential by inserting resistances in the heating circuits of the valves of low filament voltage.
