393,741. Valve amplifying circuits. ARDENNE, M. VON, 19, Jungfernstieg, Lichterfelde, Berlin. May 2, 1932, No. 12546. Convention date, May 2, 1931. [Class 40 (v).] To compensate less of high frequencies due to the capacity or a photo-electric cell 2 and an associated amplifying-valve 3, the cell is connected in series with a condenser 4, a resistance 1 and one or more chokes 8, 18, 28 to form the input circuit of the valve. The choke is between the grid and cathode of the valve, the cell between grid and anode, and the condenser between cathode and anode, and the cell is supplied from the same source of anode current as the valve. A plurality of chokes is used to obtain an irregularly distributed self-capacity. The Specification as open to public inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also inserting the cell in a grid circuit, in which oscillations are generated which are modulated by the cell, Figs. 6 and 7 (Cancelled) (not shown).
