421,182. Valve circuits for wireless reception. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE, 12, Hallesches Ufer, Berlin. June 15, 1933, No. 17103. Convention date, June 15, 1932. Addition to 418,132. [Class 40 (v)] The current taken by the density-regulating and velocity-regulating grids of a valve V3, of the type described in the parent Specification, is taken from that flowing normally through other circuit components. For instance the positive bias and current load for the electronvelocity-control grid G2 is obtained in known manner from the current flowing the fieldwinding F of the loud-speaker LS. Similarly the density-regulating grid is connected to the cathode of a preceding valve V 1, so that it draws current from the anode-cathode circuit of that valve. Alternatively the required grid currents may be derived from the filament of the valve V3, or from the heaters of one or more of the preceding indirectly-heated valves.
