Abstract
515,584. Wireless receiving circuits. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE. June 7, 1938, No. 16896. Convention date, June 4, 1937. [Class 40 (v)] A tuning indicator is operated by a voltage obtained partly from a delayed A.V.C. rectifier and partly from the signal demodulator, the former providing volume control voltages for stages preceding and following the. point from which it is fed. As shown an I.F. transformer B1 feeds an I.F. amplifier Z2 and an A.V.C. diode 1 which is biased by a delay voltage provided by the cathode resistance K of a tuning indicator M. Its load resistance R1, R2 feeds A.V.C. voltages to the following stage Z2 and other preceding stages. The valve Z2 feeds the signal demodulator diode 2, having a load resistance R3, through transformer B2. The voltage for operating the tuning indicator M is derived from a resistance 3 connected in series with resistance 5 across the resistance R3 and in series with resistance 4 across the resistances R1, R2.
