Abstract
492,263. Wireless receiving circuits. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR. DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE. March 12, 1937, No. 7258. Convention date, March 12, 1936. [Class 40 (v)] In a receiver provided with delayed A.V.C. a visual tuning indicator is made operative on signals too weak to render the normal A.V.C. operative by connecting it in the anode circuit of a valve subject to an auxiliary A.V.C. system. The normal A.V.C. diode 12 derives its delay bias voltage from the resistance 13 in the cathode return of the double diode triode 11 and applies its control voltage to the frequency changer 2. The auxiliary A.V.C. diode 15 has no delay and controls the I.F. amplifier 3 only, in the anode circuit of which is the tuning indicator 7. The degree of control applied from 15 to valve 3 is substantially less than that applied over the normal A.V.C. channel.
