Abstract
422,029. Valve circuits for wireless reception. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE, 12, Hallesches Ufer, Berlin. May 3, 1934, No. 13426. Convention date, May 23, 1933. [Class 40 (v)] A superheterodyne receiver comprises an hexode valve M, signals being applied between the cathode and first grid, the second grid being earthed, the third and fourth grids being coupled over a tuned circuit O to produce local oscillations, and the anode coupled over circuits Z, Z<1>, tuned to the intermediate frequency, to a second detector, the circuit of the fourth grid including a coil coupled to the anode circuit Z to provide reaction and reduce damping in the circuit Z. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, the intermediate frequency circuits may have their damping reduced by use of reaction in the second detector stage. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
