Abstract

504,421. Automatic volume control AGA-BALTIC RADIO AKTIEBOLAG. May 16, 1938, No. 14547. Convention date, May 15, 1937. [Class 40 (v)] To facilitate aural tuning in a radio receiver, an A.V.C. voltage is derived from the opposed outputs of two rectifiers fed front circuits of different selectivity. As shown, the signal detector diode 19 with its load resistance 21, 22 is fed from a tapping on the secondary of an I.F:transformer 18, an auxiliary rectifier 23, being fed from the primary. The load resistance 25 of the diode 23, from which A.V.C. voltages are fed over resistance 30, is connected in series with the part 22 of the load resistance of diode 19, their D.C. outputs being in opposition. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 429,429.
