Abstract

537,599. Television. HAZELTINE CORPORATION. June 5, 1940, No. 9842. Convention date, June 9, 1939. [Class 40 (iii)] In order to stabilize " background-illumination " in a television receiver, the amplifying valve 21 feeding the image reproducer 18 has an output circuit 24 connected to a rectifier 26 arranged to introduce a bias in the input circuit of the valve 21 to which the unstabilized signal is fed from an amplifier 16 through a condenser 22. As shown, the connection between the output circuit 24 and the rectifier 26 is by way of a tapping 24a and a condenser 28. Specification 499,538 is referred to.
