Abstract
505,598. Wireless receiving circuits. TELEFUNKEN GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEGRAPHIE. Nov. 15, 1937, No. 31317. Convention date, Nov. 14,1936. [Class 40 (v)] In an automatic tuning-correction circuit in which a differential frequency control voltage is derived from a filter 3 having the centre of one coil connected with one end of the other coil, the rectifiers 2, 13, for providing the opposing D.C. potentials are also used for demodulation. In series with resistances 4, 17, across which the D.C. control potentials are developed, are connected transformer windings 28, 29, one of which is reversely connected so that the two L.F. voltages are applied in additive phase to the grid of valve 8. The resultant control voltage at point 31 is also amplified in the low-frequency stage 8 and' operates electrodynamically through the de-, vice 21 a correcting condenser in the receiver. In a modification, valve 8 is replaced by a push-pull pair, the secondary of the input transformer being divided and connected across resistances 4, 17, the tune correcting means being operated by the differential anode current of the valves.
