Abstract

471,788. Inductances. STEATIT-MAGNESIA AKT.-GES. Feb. 12, 1937, No. 4309. Convention date, Feb. 13, 1936. [Class 38 (ii)] In a high-frequency inductance coil having a core of compressed powdered magnetic material movable as a whole or comprising two relatively movable parts c, d resilient inserts g of cork, rubber, &c., are arranged between the movable part and a fixed part such as the coil former a so as frictionally to maintain the movable part in adjusted position. The invention is also described with reference to pot-type cores having a central adjusting screw, Fig. 3 (not shown), the screw having flats thereon to which resilient strips are secured and which frictionally engage the threaded hole in the fixed part of the core.
