Abstract
502,296. Inductances. BOSCH GES., R. April 29, 1938, No. 12813. Convention date, April 29, 1937. [Class 38 (ii)] In a variable high-fre. quency inductance having a core of finely divided magnetic material, the core is made in two or more similar parts 1, 2 mounted on a screwed spindle 7 of low-loss insulating material, at least one of the parts being rotatable for screw adjustment with respect to the others. The spindle may extend through an insulat. ing partition 5 in a casing 8 and carry a second coil having a similar core construction, the two forming a band-pass filter. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, the core parts, instead of being mounted on a spindle, may be mounted in an internally screwed tube of low-loss insulating material. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
