[Class 38 (ii)] In high frequency inductance coils, parts of the winding are separated from each other or from the core by spacers of solid material traversed by air channels. The coils may be cylindrical or toroidal, and the spacers 3 ... 6 may comprise a unitary or two-part corrugated or honeycombed body of low loss material such as a polyvinyl compound.
