Abstract
424,425. Inductances. ALLGEMEINE ELEKTRICITATS-GES., 2, Friedrich Karl- Ufer, Berlin. Aug. 16, 1933, No. 22938. Convention date, Aug. 16, 1932. Addition to 363,697. [Class 37] A high-frequency inductance coil has a closed iron core of metal sheets, wires or tapes made as claimed in the parent Specification. The core material has a hysteresis factor h/#u0, where h is the hysteresis constant for the material and u0 its initial permeability, the factor being equal to or less than 3. The inductance may comprise a single layer winding on an annular core with the end turns adjacent, or as in Fig. 2, the winding may comprise two sections wound in opposite directions, the first turn of the first section being adjacent the first turn of the second section, the last turn of each section also being adjacent. In order to decrease the inherent winding capacitance still further, the sections are wound alternately on opposite halves of the core, Fig. 3, the last turn of each section being adjacent the first turn of the next but one section. The core material may comprise small additions of substances which increase its electrical resistance.
