512,760. Inductances. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. Nov. 26, 1937. Nos. 32695 and 32696. Void. Convention dates, Nov. 26, 1936 and Dec. 5, 1936. [Class 38 (ii)] In high-frequency inductance coils, the windings are arranged in sections separated by air dr solid spacers 4 on a material (e.g., polystyrol) having a dielectric hysteresis no greater than that of air. In winding the coil, which may be cylindrical or toroidal, temporary spacers may be used, these being subsequently removed; if desired the winding may then be soaked in styrol which is subsequently polymerised to form permanent spacers.
