[Class 37] A high-frequency coil has a main core a which is fixed relatively to the winding and a second core c which is adjustably mounted in a recess d in the main core, both cores being made of finely divided magnetic material, the particles of which are insulated from each other. In the arrangement shown, the core c has an extension f which is screwed into a part g of the casing. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the second core is screwed into the main core, and the main core is formed with an additional bore which serves for the preliminary adjustment of the inductance, the screwed core giving a final adjustment.
