Abstract
465,793. Drinking glass supports. McCLEMENT, H. B., and McCLEMENT, D. M. Nov. 15, 1935, No. 31629. [Classes 52 (v) and 128] A ring bracket 5 for supporting a drinking- glass &c. A in inverted position is inclined from the wall outwards at a small angle to the horizontal so that residual liquid drips from the lowest point of the mouth into a receptacle 6 arranged on the bracket. The glass may be barrel-shaped or as shown may have an annular ridge 2 around it about mid-way of its height, and the bracket comprises a wall plate 3 from which a neck 4 and the ring 5 extend at about 5‹ to the horizontal. The receptacle 6 has a shank 7 adapted to be hooked over the neck 4 which is of triangular cross-section to prevent swinging. The receptacle may be of circular form and may be connected to the shank 7 by pins 8 and slots 9 so as to be tiltable for emptying. The inclination of the ring 5 may be adjustable.
