Abstract
384,393. Indicating liquid - levels. MUDD, J., Cloth Hall, Colne, Lancashire. Oct. 10, 1931, No. 28161. [Class 123 (i).] A device to indicate the liquid level in an oil vessel or the like comprises a float C, which may be of cork, carrying a stem D which is bent horizontally at the top and passes through a vertical slot a in a tube A. The projecting part of the stem carries a ring d<1> the position of which indicates the liquid level. A coloured disc D<1> is mounted at the top of the stem D, which, when visible at the top of the tube A, indicates that the liquid container is full. A ring A<1> may be attached to the tube A at such a level that when the ring d<1> comes into contact with it, the container is substantially empty. Specification 6321/03, [Class 75, Lamps &c.], is referred to.
