Abstract

825,639. Portable vessels. EKCO PRODUCTS CO. May 2, 1956 [July 21, 1955], No. 13525/56. Class 66. [Also in Group VI] A combination of a vessel holder 20 and a vessel 10 comprises a foot ring 21 at one end of the holder 20 capable of interfitting with a downwardly extending and inwardly offset extension 12 of the bottom of the vessel 10, and a cover 23 at the other end of the holder 20 for interfitting with the mouth of the vessel the holder being resilient and so shaped that the foot ring and cover must be sprung apart when being applied to or removed from the vessel. The cover 23 is shaped to leave an opening 16 around the pouring lip 17 and it has a slit 29 through which a cord suspending a tea bag 28 may extend, there being a knob 32 on the holder 20 for securing said cord. The vessel 10 may be of glass.
