Abstract

241,074. Sharp, T. Feb. 3, 1925. Sugar-holders. - Relates to sugar containers or servers of the kind comprising a receptacle with a central vertical discharge tube extending down inside to within a short distance of the bottom, through which a measured quantity is discharged from a well when the receptacle is inverted. The glass or like container a has an internal concave bottom with a small central well e and three projections d or which rests the conical or flanged lower end c of the central tube b. The conical cover h screws on to the upper end of the container and has an opening g at the top with a flange k to engage within the top end of the tube b. An aperture j with a screw or other cover is provided in the cover h for filling purposes.
