460,431. Steam superheaters. BABCOCK & WILCOX, Ltd. March 30, 1936, No. 26799. Convention date, March 29, 1935. Divided application. [Classes 123 (ii) and 123 (iii)] In water-tube steam boilers having one or more banks of water-tubes 18 connected by uptake and downtake headers with a single transverse steam and water drum 16 a superheater 10 is supported above the tube bank by a pair of headers 90, 100, one near each end, connected by tubes with the downtake headers 72 and with the drum by sets of circulator tubes 94, 106 having upright parts acting as tension members. Header 90 is preferably also hung from an overhead beam by hangers 92, and the upper parts of circulators 106 are connected to hangers 110. The superheater outlet header 112 is supported by hangers 114.
