459,764. Grilling-apparatus. STUDER, H., 8, Obere Zõune, and ERNST, C., 20, Preiergasse, both in Zurich, Switzerland. May 1, 1936, No. 12440. [Class 28 (i)] A cooking-grill comprises semicircular grill bars 3, semicircular juice-receiving troughs 2, and V-shaped bars 4 which protect the troughs 2 from overheating. The troughs 2 are supported on projections 1<1> on a handled frame 1 which is arranged to slope the troughs 2 towards a juice-collecting dish 11<1>. The grill bars 3 are connected together by cross-members 31 and are removable as a unit. The spaces between the troughs 2 and the bars 4 may be packed with insulating material such as asbestos. A cover may be. placed over the grill to retain the heat. In modifications, the frame 1 is fitted with gas burners, or the bottom of the frame 1 is closed by a perforated plate whereby the device may be stood on an electric hot-plate, or an electric heating plate may be incorporated in the frame 1 beneath the perforated plate.
