Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a high temperature hot hydrostatic device by constructing a heat source of a carbon heater of specific shape and efficiently heating in direct heat type by the carbon heater. CONSTITUTION:A heat source 3 is composed of a group of inverted U-shaped carbon heaters 4 arranged around a container for an article to be heat treated to thereby uniformly heat the entire area from the top to the bottom. The carbon heaters 4 are so arranged as to fixedly support under insulation at the lower ends as electrically connecting terminals is single or multiple stages along the imaginary cylinder around a vertical shaft as a center in a heat treatment chamber 2.
