Abstract

417,042. Gas stove hot-plates. STEBBING, R. J., Gothic Works, Angel Road, Edmonton, and MAIN, Ltd., R. & A., 48, Grosvenor Gardens, Buckingham Palace Road, both in London. July 5, 1934, No. 19799. [Class 126.] To protect the grill 15 of a gas stove from drippings from utensils placed on the hot-plate bars above it, at least one of the bars 18 is provided with a cover plate 19 extending over the grill. In the construction shown, two bars 18 are provided with integral cover plates 19 leaving a gap 22 between them and having upwardly turned edges 20, 21, the edges 20 extending to such a height as to form auxiliary supporting bars.
