[Class 39 (iii) ] The sheathed wire heating elements 1 of an electrically heated type metal pot 5 are mounted in sinuous loops 6, 7 against the walls and bottom of the pot, and are provided with strips 15, Fig. 2, of light metal which penetrate into the liquid type metal and conduct heat thereto. The loops 7 lying against the bottom of the pot are disposed so as to interengage.
