457,265. Ventilating buildings. WHITNEY, A., Wenderholm, Sarisbury, Hampshire. July 20, 1936, No. 20059. [Class 137] A ventilation system for hollow walled buildings comprises the provision of adjustable ventilators e, e<1> in the outer walls, and f, f<1> in the inner walls substantially opposite one another, the ventilators being adjusted to control the air flow either through the hollow walls only, or also through the interiors of the rooms. The roof may be ventilated through openings j, j<1> and k, k<1> in the inner and outer sections, and above the ceiling c, whereby air may circulate between the rafters. Mechanical means may be employed to induce air through the ventilators, and cooling or heating means may be used. The inner ventilators h, h<1>, may be arranged to communicate directly with the outer air.
