Abstract

444,722. Tents. EVERITT, A., St. Elms, The Drive, Southbourne, Hampshire. June 7, 1935, No. 16571. [Class 20 (i)] A hood or tent structure for use as a garage comprise a box-like housing and a folding hood in two parts adapted to be opened out from opposite sides of the box, which constitutes a central supporting stand for the hood. The box 1 is provided with hinged flaps 4 constituting the sides thereof, and forming the floor of the structure when turned downwardly, the hoods 6 being expanded from opposite sides of the box. The hood is stiffened by box-shaped ribs 9 hinged to angle-iron supports 8 within the box at each side, the ends of the ribs being either concentric or positioned along the flange of the support.
