Abstract

Dark rooms.-A collapsable framework suitable for a portable dark room comprises hinged main supports H connected by pairs of articulated cross stays B pivoted at e, c, d, f, so that the structure formed is larger at the base than the top. The cross stays may be attached all above or alternately above and below the hinges A. When the structure has an odd number of sides, the cross stays on one side are replaced by a detachable pivoted cross-bar. A roof support is formed separately by pivoting together the required number of stays as at k.
