Class 20(1) [Also in Group XXXII] A wooden, metal or synthetic resin structure opens up from a compact transportable form, Fig. 2 to form a building, e.g. a workshop or bunkhouse, with open walls completed by canvas 78 if ncessary, and the extent to which it is opened is determined by the size of the building required, Figs. 6, 9, 10 (not shown). There may be wheels 26, 27 which can be retracted, Figs. 5, 7 (not shown), to the position shown in Fig. 8 when the building is erected. The structure has two opposed walls 17 joined by a bar 18 and by a floor 16, Fig. 8, to which are hinged floor extensions 38 42. Box-like members, each with two open sides and a top 23, a side 22 and two ends 21, are pivoted by hinges 19 to the bar 18 one on each side thereof. These boxes are swung up, Figs. 8, 11, so that the tops 23 abut and the sides 22 form a roof with windows 29 acting as skylights. Hinges 31 connect roof panels 30 to the sides 22 and hinged extensions 33, 34 of these may hang, Fig. 8, to form side walls of the building contacting the floor extension 42, or one or both of the extensions may be swung up and supported by a jack 76, Fig. 11, to increase the size of the building. The open sides (and ends where applicable) are closed by the canvas 78 secured to the roof panels and having openings 80 fastenable by sliding clasp. In Fig. 11, struts 91 support the roof panels 30 from the two walls 17. Narrow flaps 82 secured by hinges 83 to the walls 17 close gaps between those walls and the walls of canvas 78. A work bench 44, Fig. 8, may be secured to the walls 17 and floor 16 and support shafts 59 upon which suspension arms of the wheels are swung. Cabinets 50 are pivoted to the box-tops 23 and flexible cables 87 connect a junction blocs 88 to instruments which may be provided with the cabinets. When the structure is closed up, Fig. 2, the roof panels 30, 33, 34 and the floor extensions 38, 42 are housed side-by-side adjacent the inner faces of the box sides 22, Fig. 4 (not shown) and the cabinets 50 rest on the bench 44.
