[Class 20 (i).] A collapsable tent or hut comprises a collapsable bed structure 10, 12, Figs. 1, 3, a covering 20 therefor, and a box-like structure 1, for storing the bed and canopy, having sectional side walls 4 which are in part housed within the box when the structure is collapsed. The front wall 6 of the box is removable and is adapted to be mounted on the rear wall 5 where it is secured by pegs 61 and hooks 6<11> on the upper sections 9 of the side walls 4. These upper sections support the lid 16 from which extends a curtain 19 and the covering 20. The bed is supported on props 11, 11<1>, and comprises two sections 10, 12, hinged together at 13, the section 12 having a flap 17 over which the covering extends. The hinges 13 are arranged on blocks 14 so that a space 15 for storing the bedding and covering is provided when the structure is collapsed. The bed does not extend across the complete width of the box so that a passage is provided on one side thereof. In a modification, the bed extends across the complete width of the box, and is formed in three hinged sections one of which constitutes the base of the box. The covering is supported by a framework extending between the lid and the outermost section of the bed. In a further modification, the covering is constituted by flaps 28, 31, Fig. 11, hinged to the bed and lid respectively, and detachable side flaps 34 which are secured to the side walls by hooks 37. The space between the lid and rear wall is closed by a flap 29 hinged to the lid. In another modification the bed structure 38, Fig. 14, consists of a sheet extending between a number of flexible bars which rest on cross-bar supports. A flap 40 is pivoted to the end of the bed and forms a support for a foldable framework 42 which supports the covering 45.
