[Class 110 (iii)] In order to prevent churning when a turbine is running without load, the turbine being of a type in which the outflow edges of the exhaust blades 2 are disposed at varying distances from the axis of rotation, a guide vane ring 5 is arranged in the discharge passage as shown. The angle of inclina tion of the guide vanes may b( adjustable. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 com prises also a description of a method of adjusting these vanes, but this subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
