426,366. Pulverulent - fuel furnaces; feeding fuel. INTERNATIONAL COMBUSTION, Ltd., and PENNY, F. G., Aldwych House, Aldwych, London. Jan. 6, 1934, No. 574. [Class 51 (i)] Pulverized fuel mixed with air is fed from a mill through a pipe 1 to a separator 2 from which the bulk of the fuel and a proportion of the air passes through the pipe 3 to the burner 4. The remainder of the air is led from the top of the separator under the control of a damper 7 to a pipe 6 communicating with the furnace at 9. A damper 10 may also be provided in the pipe 6.
