424,024. Valves for hot - water radiators. AKTIEBOLAGET C T C, Otterhall, and AHLREN, F., Lilla Katrinedal, both in Gothenburg, Sweden. Nov. 9, 1933, No. 31208. [Class 135] A valve which maintains a constant flow through a hot-water system by dividing the total flow between a radiator and a byepass therefor passes the supply through a port 12 to ports 13, 14, serving the radiator and byepass respectively, by way of a sleeve 15 provided with corresponding holes 16, 17 masked by a semi-cylindrical shield 19 rotatable by a spindle 18 which carries a pointer 20 moving over a scale. The total number of holes open remains constant at all settings of the shield and their arrangement is such that at a particular pressure and temperature of the water, uniform adjustment of the radiator temperature is produced by uniform adjustment of the shield.
