523,945. Heating by circulation of liquids. HAMPTON, R. M. July 1, 1939, No. 19183. [Class 64 (ii)] An expansion chamber 1 for a hot water heating system is fitted with a valve 8 which is opened by atmospheric pressure, against the action of a spring 9, when the system cools. Cold water is supplied to the system through a cock 4, and a gauge glass 5 indicates the water level in the chamber ; a loaded valve 6 and pressure gauge 7 are provided at the top.
