Class 64(1) In a water heater having a hot water outlet tap 31, a valve or valves 40, 42 in the cold water supply pipe 25, and an outlet 34 for draining water from the heater, a pressure-relief valve 38 is arranged in a screw-threaded hollow plug 35 closing the drainage outlet, the valve outlet leading to the outside atmosphere through a,'hole 44 in the plug. The valve 42 is a non-return valve, and the valve 40 is a shut-off valve. The gas valve 14 is actuated by a diaphragm 17 held in place by a disc 19 with a hollow stem 24 for the passage of water from the pipe 25. Specification 502,395 is referred to.
