534,544. Domestic hot-water supply systems. HOLDEN, F. H. Feb. 6, 1940, No. 2327. [Class 64 (i)] To prevent freezing in a cold water storage tank 10, hot water is admitted from the expansion pipe through a valve 12 which is so controlled by a thermalily sensitive element 18 that the valve is opened when the water in the tank falls to a pre-determined low level.
