[Class 64 (i)] Apparatus for testing the water supply pressure to ensure the use of the correct type of water heater suitable for that pressure comprises a tubular member 1 secured by clamps 6 to the supply tap, a valve 12 adjustable in accordance with the requirements of the particular type of heater, and a pressure gauge 2, which indicates whether the water pressure is sufficient to operate the safety appliances of the heater. A perforated disc or throttle may be used in place of a valve.
