Abstract
362,665. Supply arrangements for hot water boilers. JACKSON, E., 83, Fallow Court Avenue, North Finchley, London. Dec. 5, 1930, No. 36744. [Class 64 (i).] In a boiler of the kind used by caterers for the constant supply of boiling water, the feed supply is regulated by an adjustable rotary plug 6 in the supply pipe 4 between the feed tank 1 and the boiler. The plug is formed with a passage 7 allowing the flow of feedwater suitable to the boiler. Adjustment may be made by unscrewing the plug to remove it from its seating 8 in the supply pipe. A pressure equalizing pipe 3 extends upwards into the boiler or into the feed tank, which is connected to the top of the boiler by a pipe 2. The equalizing pipe inside the boiler has an adjustable outlet 11.
