263,465. Sulzer FrÞres Soc. Anon. Aug. 5, 1926, [Convention date]. Addition to 230,002. Water-tube boilers.-In a boiler having an overflow pipe c between the upper drum of a rear section b and the lower drum of a front section a, as described in the parent Specification, the overflow pipe is connected through a stop valve f to a point in the rear upper drum situated below the mouth d of the overflow pipe. The valve f may be automatically controlled in accordance with the water level in the front drum or in accordance with the steam pressure. The valve may, for example, be opened by a float or a thermostat when the water level in the front drum falls below a certain point.
