Abstract

194,702. Kiesselbach, C. March 11, 1922, [Convention date]. Hot-water storage apparatus.-A battery of boilers 1 is connected to a hot-water storage tank 2, into which boiler water overflows through a pipe 3, and from which water is supplied to the boilers by a continuously running rotary pump 7. The pipe 3 is connected to the boilers at the normal water-level. The feed pump 4 may be regulated by hand or automatically in accordance with the steam pressure or demand. The pipe 3 may open into the bottom of the boilers through inverted U-shaped connections. The water may discharge from the feed pump through a feedheater, and may, further, deliver the water into a reservoir, from which it is withdrawn and supplied to the boilers as required. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), the pump 7 may be stopped when the steam output is normal. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
