[Class 64 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXIX and XIV] An air-release valve for hot-water radiators and other apparatus, comprises a ported conical plug c, Fig. 1, or cylindrical plug c<1>, Fig. 5, which is held within a ported boss b formed integral within, or screwed into, the radiator, by a collar g screwed into the boss. The plug and the collar are rotatable independently, and no portion projects beyond the outer surface of the radiator. The device may bear marks indicating the open and closed positions.
