Abstract

Copper alloys contain over 95,5 per cent of copper, together with 1-2,75 per cent of zinc and 0,5-3 per cent of silicon. The alloys may be made by melting copper and silicon together and adding the zinc. When the alloys are worked cold, they may be subjected to intermediate annealings by heating to 650-800 DEG C., for 1-12 hours.
