Abstract

Modifications of the magnetic-iron alloys set out in the parent Specification contain also 0,01-2,5 per cent of silicon, with or without up to 1 per cent of titanium. The alloys are made by melting together iron reduced without contact with carbon or electrolytic iron, high-phosphorus hydrogen-reduced iron or low carbon ferro-phosphorus, and the required amounts of silicon and, if required, titanium.
