Abstract

Aluminium alloys for use in internal-combustion engines and for other purposes, contain at least 65 per cent of aluminium, and contain also copper, silicon, nickel, magnesium, and vanadium. They may contain 65-75 per cent of aluminium, 5-15 per cent of copper, 6-14 per cent of silicon, and 1,5-2,5 per cent of nickel, magnesium, and vanadium.
