Abstract
422,173. Transformers. BRITISH THOMSON - HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. Aug. 28, 1934, No. 24785. Convention date, Aug. 29, 1933. [Class 38 (ii)] The high tension winding 6 of a current transformer is insulated from the core 2 and the secondary 4 by a flanged insulating body 5 and a trough - like insulating body 11 is arranged between the flanged body 5 and the unwound limb 3 of the core. The insulating body 11 may have its vertical edges engaging in grooves formed between double flanges on the body 5 and produces a long creepage path between the high tension winding and the core. The terminals of the winding 6 are secured to the flanges of the body 5.
