[Class 75 (iv)] An aircraft landing-light for use on aerodromes or the like comprises a shadow bar c which is arranged transversely across the axis of a reflector a of the type which is wholly or partly of parabolic or substantially parabolic form in vertical section and wholly or partly of circular form in horizontal section. The position of the shadow d can be varied by swinging the reflector and shadowbar together or by swing- ing the shadow bar relatively to the reflector. A portion of the reflector may extend forwardly beyond the light source b, and the reflector may be used in combination with dioptric elements.
