Abstract

319,661. Pintsch Akt.-Ges., J., Sept. 25,1928, [Convention date]. Lenses.-A signal lamp is fitted with a single lens 1 and a catadioptrical ring 2 the outer face of which is so constructed as to cause total reflection of light proceeding from a source of light 3 up to an angle of 180‹. The lens and ring may be cemented together at 4 and their axes may be at an angle to each other so as to project the beam of light along a curved or ascending railway track. The lens may be made aspherical or otherwise modified, and a concave reflector may be disposed behind the source of light. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 23491/09.
