Abstract

362,649. Reflex lights. BLADON, W. E., 99, Northwood Street, Birmingham. Nov. 22, 1930, No. 35197. [Class 97 (i).] A lamp lens comprises a main transparent or translucent part having a convex outer surface and one or more outer parts having inner surfaces which are silvered to act as reflex lights should the source of light within the lamp partially or completely fail. The lens may be made of red or other coloured glass and the reflecting parts may be made integrally with, or separate from, the main part. The reflecting part may be in the form of a continuous ring having a convex outer surface 6, Fig. 2, and a concave inner surface 7 which is silvered and painted, or in the form of spaced cylindrical projections 8, Fig. 5, having convex inner and outer surfaces.
